Membership
Our 13 Membership Requirements
1. Personal acceptance of Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
2. Enrollment in a University where a chapter of Alpha Delta Chi has been chartered by the National Board.
3. Active participation in Christian service.
4. Membership in a church or regular attendance if membership is not offered.
5. Interest in leading others to Christ.
6. Willingness to avoid situations which could cause one's sister or brother to stumble.
7. Willingness to abstain from pre-marital sexual relations.
8. Willingness to abstain from smoking and illegal use of drugs.
9. Willingness to abstain from alcohol in situations where the Christian witness would be adversely affected.
10. A scholarship rating of at least 2.0 or "C" average.
11. Passage of annual examinations on the National Constitution, Chapter Constitution, and 2 Corinthians 3:18.
12. Procurement of Membership Pin.
13. Payment of $50 within one year of graduation to the chapter housing fund.
***Our membership requirements reflect what the perfect member of Alpha Delta Chi would look like. While we don't expect perfection (and we are not perfect), the membership requirements help give us guidelines to keep each other accountable and to strive to be the best Christian women we can be.
